Below is the exchange of correspondence between me and the Chair of the Central Judiciary Committee of the ACS, Dr. Douglas Wood, regarding my permanent ban. You be the judge.
Your response is well articulated but they have no desire for discourse with you. You may have a legal remedy since your dues allow you access to ACS services which you have been denied access to. The ACS is bent on a path that diverges from many of its members. Censoring dissenting speech was their pathway forward to enact DEI ideology despite many members concerns, They’ve made you appear to be the lone voice in the wilderness. Your only recourse is now from outside the ACS.
I only stay in the ACS in order to continue to be able to claim that membership and dare the ACS to expel me. They will regret banning me. In the immortal words of John Paul Jones, "I have not yet begun to fight." I bet I can continue to push back longer than they can continue to ignore me. Cheers. Rick
Legal is expensive, time consuming, and probably won't yield a result worth all the trouble. I am going after them with a formal complaint to the Office of Civil Rights. That should be a wake up if it leads to an investigation by the Federal government. More to come.
I just listened to your interview on YouTube. Unfortunately you are not alone in being victimized by this ideology. Since so few people in the US support this radical thinking, how can all these associations, not just surgical but many others (pediatric, psychologists etc) be supporting this?? Someone/something is pushing this with threats of retribution if an association does not comply. Who?
I think it comes from the top, ie the brains behind the Biden administration. They control Federal dollars on which many of these organizations depend. Also, the left has captured most of the institutions: media, tech, entertainment (why does every TV show, movie, and commercial have to feature diversity, eg biracial couples, gay couples, obese persons, etc)?
I agree with everything you said. My question is who or what is behind Biden? Who is pushing this radical ideology? No one, thus far, has been able to pinpoint it.
EVERYONE is aware of the ads, websites, healthcare marketers, movies, that is fixated on 13% of our population. I receive printed women's retail catalogs that have nothing but black women in them. Not Asian, not Hispanic, not Chinese, and certainly not white - all black.
Let the lawsuits begin. It’s the one powerful tool that we have.
