Well said. I can’t even begin to imagine what a shock and insult it was to you to be banned. With our world becoming corrupt on so many levels and integrity a lost virtue, I don’t know why I’m surprised. In my eyes, your commitment to your profession is beyond reproach. I’m honored to be associated with you.

Thank you, Suzy. You are very kind. I may not have always been 100% on my game in every patient encounter, but my commitment to being as good as I can be and honoring my teachers in medicine has never wavered. That we have come to this, DEI, in medicine and surgery is tragic and disheartening. I will continue to push back until I can't any longer.

We are watching Mr. Bates vs The Post office on PBS.

Corruption is everywhere. You can commiserate with the story of power, censorship and what feels to me like insanity. Thankfully my spouse exited his private practice at the end of 2023, not surgical and not sustainable in the current climate of medicine.

I wish I could say that woke medical education is an aberration and most medical schools still teach a full curiculum intended to produce competent doctors, but I can't. This is especially true of ivy league medical schools, which seem to be the worst offenders when it comes to emphasizing social justice concerns over medical education. As a general rule, I no longer trust physicians trained in the last 10-15 years.
